The release date was March 20th, 2022 in the wake of the live performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing on her own on the program. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded the Latin Album of the Year and 3 Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman to do so.
