Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress into Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won the Colombian Kids Choice Award as the most popular Song for the year 2017. He released his debut long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. It reached the number 8 spot at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel for Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina in the following year. Later, in 2021, He sang a duet 2021 with TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo has an musical family, as both his parents and brother also play music. In his interviews, he said music participation as mandatory. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone ukulele, and piano as a young child. In spite of initially wanting to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban music teacher could change his direction in life.
