Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is a Filipino American actor, television host, and comedian. Angelica Hale fell ill at age four with Strep and pneumonia as a result of an infection brought on by bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston gave her ECMO, a life-saving intervention. The kidneys of her did not heal when she contracted an infection that was septic and she suffered several organ failure. Her new normal was peritoneal and then the hemodialysis. She finally returned home after an eighteen-day stay in the hospital from the point where she was close to death, and began the long road back to healthy. Her life had been forever changed. Angelica's entire life was transformed after she was diagnosed with kidney dialysis. The kidney she would receive from none other than her mother. Angelica Hale and her mother had an organ transplantation procedure at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13 2013. Angelica Hale pursued her dream to become a famous person for years after.
